Interviewed Aug 2011 in Olympia, WA (took a day)
I took a written programming test 30 minutes before the interview and was also given a list of questions that would be asked. The exam was easy and I was done well before my time was up. Was taken to a room with a long table and five interviewers around the table. They had seven questions and 60 minutes to ask them. They had score sheets to make notes and give a numerical score for each question, with sub scores. I must say it was pretty disconcerting to be answering questions and seeing the two people closest to me writing down numbers for my scores. I felt it was insensitive and unprofessional. The manger was pretty rude with her aggressive questioning method and said she had worked there just two years shy of retiring. Great, I thought, so you only know one way to do things.

Interviewed Feb 2008 (took 1+ week)
Was given an offer letter after the phone interview. I asked for pictures so that I would have some idea of the environment. They sent the pictures and they were insufficient. So, I requested that they check into a in-person interview. After checking with HR they determined that they could pay for an interview trip. I flew to Washington and met with the boss and the folks I would work with. I spoke briefly with a man smoking outside the building as I was leaving. He asked how the interview went and I said it was disappointing because I could not meet with HR to learn about the benefits. It turn out that he was a third level HR manager. He immediately arranged for me to sit with HR and learn about the benefits. After returning home I accepted the offer and started work seven days later. (Had to move from Texas in that time, at my own expense.)

Interviewed Jun 2009 in Seattle, WA (took a day)
Questions presented just before interview to allow me to formulate responses. The interview panel consisted of 5 management team members. There was little to no interaction beyond the members taking turns asking questions and my response. Only 1 follow up question deviating from the set list of questions was asked; however, I was given instructions that I could use my 45 minutes in any manner I wished, including follow up questions for the panel.
