I applied through a recruiter and the process took 6 months - interviewed at Waste Management in April 2012.
Interview Details – The interview process was thorough, interviewed with two directors and one VP. A second interview was two directors while eating lunch, this was not an ideal situation as the interviewers eat while the interviewed has to answer questions.
Interview Question – Most difficult questions were based on unrealistic scenarios and the answers had to be given quickly. Answer Question
Negotiation Details – I had to negotiate with HR and it did not go as planned. WM promised a 25% yearly bonus as part of the salary because they have given a bonus for the last 20 years but this year it is the first they are not going to. Many based their acceptance of lower salaries because of the "promised" bonus, as i did and now there is no bonus this year (2012). There are many now resigning from WM because of the cancelled bonus.
