Interviewed Jan 2012 in Boston, MA (took 4 weeks)
I was contacted by an HR representative who then set me up for a skype interview the following week. The interview consisted of two half hour interviews each with a separate member of the engineering team. After a few weeks was contacted by the initial HR representative and was told that I was not selected to move forward in the process.

Interviewed Aug 2011 in Boston, MA (took 1+ week)
Interviewer seemed rather uninterested in what I had to say, my collegiate background and research projects. Skills questions were simple, yet interviewer expected a precise answer and discredited my responses. Could tell that the interviewer needed to reach some kind of interview quota as he was going through the motions. None of the typical behavioral interview questions. 20 minutes that could be put to better use.

Interviewed Nov 2011 in Boston, MA (took 4+ weeks)
I met Wayfair at a college job fair and was encouraged to apply by a couple of friends working at the company. I applied for the Category Associate position, but was given a Business Analyst interview. There were no phone calls or preliminary interviews--only a final round interview. The interview was called "Wayfair Blitz Days", and a group of 8 of us were interviewed at their headquarters in Boston. The day started with a presentation from their VP of Marketing, followed by 3 one hour one on one interviews that each examined a different aspect. The first looked at business sense, next if you fit in with the Wayfair culture, and finally a problem solving question. It was something about if you apply a 10% coupon code to all purchases and the average purchase price is x, how many more people will need to make purchases to make the 10% of coupon worth it.

Interviewed Nov 2011 in Boston, MA (took 2 weeks)
I was approached by a recruiter for two different positions . I must have interviewed with at least 10 people including the big names in the company . Overall the interview process was smooth and everyone seemed to be knowledgeable in their own fields. The interviews were mainly situation based and there were several small cases to solve.

Interviewed Sep 2011 in Boston, MA (took 3 days)
Met Wayfair at college recruitment fair. Was contacted later for phone interview, then asked to visit Boston office. Was interviewed by two groups of 2 people, 2 in the department I was interviewing for, 2 for a different department.
Every interview consisted of a case question with relatively simple math, then extrapolating what the numbers actually meant. The last group did not explain their case very clearly and it was difficult to understand what they wanted me to respond with. Otherwise, pretty simple interview.

Interviewed Apr 2010 in Boston, MA (took 3 weeks)
The interview consisted of 3 1-on-1 interviews with hiring partners & group directors. Most of the questions are behavioral questions. I was given 2 case questions which are really simple (not your typical consulting case interviews). The cases are on digital/internet related cases, specifically to e-commerce. Overall, it was a very relaxed process and everyone was very nice.

Interviewed Apr 2011 in Boston, MA (took a day)
The interview took place in a conference given that everyone in the office just had a desk as their work station, including the CEO. It is a very relaxed and easy going environment. The interviewer listened and questioned about career objectives to see if the position will be a good fit. The interviewer clearly thinks highly of the company and is willing to share the current status of how the company is doing. In the end, I was told I was over qualified for the position and it indeed seems like this company attracts mostly young and fresh graduates and they are hiring.

Interviewed Feb 2011 in Boston, MA (took a day)
Interviewed with four people, two at a time. The interview lasted over an hour and consisted of them asking me about my resume and things that I have done, technical interview questions, and finally a sort of "puzzle question test". The technical part was simply things like what are the color pair of a cat5 cable, how many IP's are in the subnet 255.255.255.0 and what is a CSV file. They talked a lot about themselves and the company, it made me feel like they were pitching to me why I should work there.

Interviewed Feb 2011 in Boston, MA (took 5 days)
I was contacted by email to set up an interview at their office. Interview consisted of general sales questions but included a lot of situational type scenarios such as how would you help sell a mattress to a customer, how would you deal with an upset customer wanting to speak with a manager/supervisor, etc.
