Interviewed Jun 2009 (took a day)
While living in Sacramento, I was contacted by an old friend who knew his company was hiring in the near future. So naturally, I prepared my resume and sent it over to him as quickly as possible. A week or so later I was contacted by phone for a screening and to set up an additional phone interview with the department manager. The interview was about 30 min of general background and work history. After a bit of chit-chat, the interviewer asked to set up an in person interview. 2 days later I had 2:1 interview with the dept. manager and one of the staff. The interview was very relaxed and we covered a variety of topic from work history, again and technical knowledge. I was told I would be contacted soon for next steps. About a week or so later I received a call letting me know that they were looking for someone with other qualifications but would keep my resume on file for later hirings.

Interviewed Mar 2010 in Jersey City, NJ (took a day)
They contacted me from Monster and setup the interview via email. Once they call, they asked me many technical java questions that I easily answered. They asked me about messaging, classes, recursion, data structures, sql, transactions, hash maps, interfaces, then they sent me an exercise that I had to answer within one hour. The exercises where rather simple, and they asked to write real compilable code

The money was waaaaaaaaaaay below market, the communications culture gave me the creeps, and the location was horrible. I thought this was a Cisco company, but it felt a little Lord of the Flies.

Interviewed Aug 2008 in Santa Clara, CA (took 3 days)
Great interview process, phone screen, then 1:1 where they rearranged schedules so I got to meet VP as well as directors and managers. Also they let me interview a rep as I asked to talk to someone in not management. Great process. Longest part was background check as not inhouse
