Interviewed Sep 2011 (took 2+ weeks)
It was total waste of time. 4-5 rounds of interview. They will keep you waiting and looking for other candidates who asks less money.

Interviewed Jun 2010 in San Diego, CA (took 2 days)
First part of interview was with a Junior Recruiter (basically went over position again and asked questions about resume). Second part of interview was with the Hiring Manager for the department. They tend to ask behavior and hypotheticals that seem standard. The last part of the interview was role-playing.

Interviewed May 2010 in San Diego, CA (took 4 weeks)
The process started out fairly well, simple interview with recruiter, then a verbal interview with hiring manager. Then, they set me up with an extensive list of 30 min. in-person interviews - took 1/2 day. Of course, I needed to take 1/2 day off of work.
Without going into too many details, I thought the people I interviewed with were nice, but several were very poor interviewers. Clearly, they have a very young/inexperienced management team. There were a couple of bright and engaging managers, however. So, a mixed bag. The more senior managers were engaging and I believe I would have really enjoyed working with/for them.
Then, the process started totally falling apart. I did my part in following up, but Websense was horrible about communication - saying they were going through some sort of internal transition. However, I suspect those were excuses, and they really were just waiting for a better candidate to come along, and yet wanting to keep existing candidates in the pipeline. Which, from a sourcing perspective, I do understand. But, from a candidate's perspective, it leaves you with a poor impression. I would have completely respected a response of "we are still in the interview process and seeking XYZ skill" Closure, Websense! Or, just tell me that you are not sure my skillsets are a match with the organization, and that's ok, too! But, to tell me you just move slow and always respond with "we'll have an answer for you next week?" And, of course, next week never comes.
So, the "next week" responses went on for about 5 weeks. Yes, I know - everyone else would have figured it out long before, but I do have a tendency to believe people. And, in my career, I have always had honest and forthright conversations with HR teams, but not this one. So, I must wonder - is the interviewing process reflective of this organization's culture?

Interviewed Mar 2010 in San Diego, CA (took 6 weeks)
What a meandering, uneven, and essentially useless process. Multiple people over weeks of time, multiple visits, no clear job description, lack of commitment, glaring signs of dysfunctional personalities and backstabbing. Should have listened to the four former employees I asked about the place, and not wasted my time and energy. Toxic environment, unrealistic expectations. Schedules imposed from above, then it's the workers' fault when they're missed. Micro-managed by the top layer, and proud of it! Don't want reform, want improvement without being willing to pay the price. The price of not improving will be wholesale departures when opportunities are again plentiful elsewhere. Did me a huge favor not to offer.

Interviewed Aug 2009 in San Diego, CA (took 2 days)
Phone interview with hiring manager first, arranged by an admin. Then a day of on-site interviews with several people.
Interview process was unnecessarily complex, which allowed future direct reports to unleash a litany of silly questions like "What sort of person do you like to work with?" followed by the inevitable: "What sort of person do you not like to work with?"
This was a huge waste of time, not to mention exhausting. Also, this company wants application paperwork filled out (multiple pages) at the beginning of the process, before they have even determined who the lead candidate might be.
