Interviewed Jan 2010 in Woodbridge, NJ (took 4 days)
Applied online for a part-time position. Received a phone call a few days later requesting a phone interview. Called back and finished the phone interview with an appointment for an in store interview. Waiting until that is over to learn if I get an offer or not. Very fast and efficient process.

Interviewed Nov 2007 (took 4+ weeks)
I applied online for the position and received an email from the external recruiter. I had direct correspondence with her through e-mail. I went through some other people in the division hiring process. And after asserting that relocation was not an issue, following up with her back and forth.

Interviewed Dec 2008 in Rochester, NY (took 1 week)
The interview process was fairly straightforward. I had a phone interview with an HR representative, followed by a group interview with 2 project managers in the organization. I assume my hiring process was sped up because I was a former Wegmans employee; they already had most of my information on file.

Interviewed Aug 2009 (took a day)
The interview was very impersonal; just a review of my work history, which they could easily see in my resume. Forced me to state a dollar/salary figure in order to continue the process.

Interviewed Oct 2007 in Jamestown, NY (took 4+ weeks)
Applied in store. About a month later I got a phone call saying they wanted to schedule an interview. I came in, dressed business casual. Interview was with the hiring manager 1:1. She was nice, just asked standard 'why do you want to work here' and 'what is good customer service' questions. Got a call a few days later offering the job, and I accepted.

Interviewed Apr 2009 in Downingtown, PA (took 3 weeks)
I got an email after I applied online to schedule an interview for the Pharmacy manager's position . The initial interview was with a personnel screening person. Basically it was very general, they wanted to know your background and why you wanted to work for Wegans. They asked about your availability and informed you of the work environment . They did ask about an irate customer and how you handled it and what was the outcome. They also asked what I thought the word "diversity" means. At the closing of the interview which lasted around 1/2 hour they asked for salary requirements.
About 2 weeks later they called me for a second interview, which was much more extensive and detailed. I interviewed with an HR and pharmacy personnel person. Like I said, it was very extensive and detailed. They went through line by line what seemed like a 10 page questionaire and as I answered them they would fill in my answer . They wanted to know about customer care, the financial aspects of the department, how to increase business, how I handled different types of customers. They also wanted to know if any of my ideas was taken up and implemented into business policies and procedure. They are very interested in how you work and treat co-workers., if you had any major disagreements with your supervisor and how you resolved them. The interview lasted over 2 hours and they said they would get back to me for a third interview if they were still interested after completing interviews with the rest of the candidates.
Well, they called me for a third interview with the head of HR. So it looks like I'm in the running for the manager's position. It's now down to the 3 final canidates. My interview is scheduled for the end of May. hopefully I'll know the results by June.
