ou must be able to think on your feet. Behavioral type questions, be very direct, & to the point looking for specifics. Tell me a time when you dealt with a difficult employee, etc,

Also they specialize in the fear factor, of having 2 people in the room asking you questions at once, to see if you will sweat. I think that this does not justice to the interview process,

I received a call from WFA's HR department within 48 hours of submitting my application to conduct an initial phone interview. The initial interview was pretty straight-forward...a few questions about yourself, why do you want to be a financial advisor, your network/contacts, etc. The entire interview lasted approx 10 minutes. Upon completion of the initial interview, I was scheduled for a second phone interview which lasted about 1 hr and included two role-playing scenarios. Most of the questions in the second interview focused on networking and my contacts along with some questions about my previous work experiences.

    Interview Questions
    • Nothing really difficult as far as the questions go...certainly no off-the-wall questions such as "How many man-hole covers are there in NYC?"   Answer Question

I went through 4 interviews. The first is a phone interview with a head hunting group. Usually ManPower Group. They ask the usual tell me about yourself, why do you have an interest in this position questions. They have you do 2 scenarios for a mach client interaction. It was very simple. The second was with the Branch Manager and the third with the Market Area President.

I first interviewed with a branch manager (with some finance exams), followed by a phone interview with someone from HR in St. Louis. Then you have a situational interview.....two scenarios are picked and you have to determine how you will handle the situation. If you make it through them all you will have another interview with the branch manager.
