Interviewed Jan 2011 in Houston, TX (took 5 days)
I was contacted by an HR representative confirming basic information. At the end of that call she scheduled a phone interview. That took place a couple days following the initial contact. After that, I was contacted by a hiring manager for the West region of Houston. It was a very basic interview that offered plenty of chances to show some personality. Manager was very responsive to jokes and my outward showing of character. It also helped that the weather was beyond awful that day.
Interview Questions
Reason for Declining
I've never heard of anyone that liked working there, and their salary offer was not enough to compensate for low sales reimbursement.
Other Details
The interview consisted of a Phone Interview and a 1:1 Interview.

As long as you put customers first every time you answer a question, and you mention examples that involved how much enthusiasm you always put onto your work and the amounts of experience you have gained throughout the years, then they will call you back

Interviewed Oct 2011 in Houston, TX (took 3 days)
There were about 10 of us interviewing for a teller position. Most didn't have any banking background, and the two of us that did were asked to stay after the group interview. Later, I interviewed with a service manager and branch manager. I eventually decided I wanted to work for a credit union. They seem to be extremely pushy on sales.

Interviewed Sep 2011 in Houston, TX (took a day)
Applied online and then I was emailed a screening questionnaire.
Filled out the screening information and was then told to call and 800 number for an interview.
Did a group interview with 8 other applicants. We just introduced ourselves and answered three basic questions around the table.
That was it, and then the HR recruiter said he'd email us if they weren't interested any further, or call us to set up a 1-on-1 interview within 3-7 days.

Interviewed Aug 2011 in Houston, TX (took 3 weeks)
I applied online @ Wells Fargo's website. The application was pretty easy.About a week and a half later they sent me a link to my e-mail to take web screening. After completing the web screening, you are given a number to call to have some follow up questions. They asked simple questions about your passed jobs and why did you leave? it took about 5 minutes over the phone. I received another e mail saying to call them to schedule an appointment when they had some available. I never called them to set up an interview. But about another week later a recruiter called me to schedule an appt for a group/panel interview. The recruiter called me on a wednesday to schedule my interview for that following monday. I was expecting more people, but was only accompanied by two other girls. He introduced himself and spoke a little about the company. He then asked us to introduce ourselves and tell about our previous work experience and why wells fargo? He asked us questions such as:
1. Name a time where you had to accomplished something work related?
2. Name a goal (work related) you set or someone set for you to meet? How did you meet your goal? what was hard about it? and what did you learn??
3. Name a time you gave extraordinary cust service?
The interview took about one hour. He then called us into the hallway one by one and told me I did a good job and he would get a branch manager to call me to meet up for a one on one interview. I'll see what happens from here.

My advice is to remain calm in the interview. Smile and be professional! It is not that bad. Its simple questions. Have some stories to tell from you previous jobs. it really helped me a lot!
Pay is non-negotiable. They start you have at $10.00/hr. unless you have related experience.

Interviewed Jun 2011 in Houston, TX (took a day)
I applied online. I called the recruitment line and spoke to a very nice guy who was more than patient and understanding with me (because i was caught off guard with the mini interview). I was then given the address. I went to the interview in the WILLIAMS building. I got lost a little bit and was a few minutes late. The HR guy/interviewer was very nice and explained A LOT about the company and the position. Which i appreciated. It was three layered questions. 1. Give me a significant work related accomplishment. What it was. What challenges did you face. Did you get recognition? 2. Give me a goal you accomplished at work. What it was. Why was it hard? And what did you learn? 3. Give me a recent exordinary customer service situation. It was a small group so it went pretty quick. I felt at ease and very pleased with my interview process!
