Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Spokane, WA Feb 2013 – Reviewed Mar 1, 2013
Interview Details – I had problems with the computer right off the bat. The mouse was so touchy that I hadn't answered a number of questions that should have been. The Employment Relations person took pity on me (I guess) and got me righted. That led to my being able to finish out the application and then take the typing test. I netted a 26.5% on that and it should have been a 34 wpm or so. I figure that it wasn't all that important. Yet. Then I was called back for the actual interview. I had to sell my iPhone to the HR person, then show her on a Motorola Android how to unlock, text and find e-mail. An iPhone user knowing that phone? Impossible! Surprisingly, she also let it pass, as I did finally get the phone to do it. Oh yes, the computer screen test (being a MAC user) was a challenge, but we also got through this thanks to schooling.
Interview Questions
Negotiation Details – Not a whole lot, except about maybe switching start days; I find out a week later that I will be switching and getting home by 11 P.M. No more social life or Symphony dates! WAH!!! Not cool for downtown Spokane, WA either!
Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Reno, NV Jan 2013 – Reviewed Feb 22, 2013
Interview Details – 2 meetings. 1st=Basic questions about past customer service experience and examples of situations and how you handled them with customers.
Interview Question – None really, they're so eager for 'fresh hot bodies' to revolve in and out of their center to meet productivity stats it was obvious to me that they would take anybody! The interview was simply a 'formality. Answer Question
Negotiation Details –
None. This is a call center with over 1400 calls in que at any time of the day with 'built in' frustration points that result in clearly statistical rates of staff turnover to meet quota. The operations of their order entry system known as System X and the fact that the reality of the nature of call flow does not become apparent until the time when in training you sit with a rep on the sales floor.
The only things disclosed in the interviews are the flat, non negotiable salary and that you have no choice of which 8 hour shift you will be assigned-the 'red eye' 5AM to 1:30 or the 2PM to 10PM. They'd have less turnover if they had more part time shifts in my opinion...
PS:They do require a urine sample to get the job...

Interview Details – I initially met the hiring recruiter at a job fair and handed off my resume. She contacted me withing two days for a phone interview, I then went in for my first in person interview with HR. My interview went really well and I was called back for a second interview with a team manager. I was offered this position pending a signed contract from the new client. This went back and forth so HR called me back and set up a third interview with a different team manager. This interview went very well and was very pleasant. There was not a person I intereacted with at any point that was not very positive, happy and excited. I was offered and accepted this position and started working. I would say by the time I started my first day from my initial phone interview it was a good month to month and a half process.
Interview Question – I wouldn't say any of the qustions were out of the ordinary for a typical job interview. I would say there were a lot of questions. It was a fairly long interview. Expect behavior based questions and the normal business case and technical questions. Answer Question
Negotiation Details – I aimed high and they met me at the lower half of half way. With this company it doesn't seem like there is much room for negotiation, you either take what you're offered or they move on. I would suggest aiming high though so you don't get low balled.
No Offer – Interviewed in San Antonio, TX – Reviewed Jan 23, 2013
Interview Details – Put in an application, was called within the next couple of weeks, had an "interview" with a recruiter first. The recruiter asked me some questions and gave me a run down of the position and set up an interview with 2 supervisors for the next day. I had the interview with the 2 supervisors and it was only 20 minutes long. So I wasn't sure about how it went. I was then contacted a little over a week later for another interview but this time with a Manager. I still haven't heard anything but the last interview was yesterday. To date it has taken about a month to a month and a half since i put my application in.
Interview Question –
1) what would your current supervisor say are your strengths? what about weaknesses?
2) Why do you want to work in payroll?
3) Tell me about your previous jobs
4) Why are you leaving your current job?
5)I'm going to say some payroll terms, tell me what they are: w2, w4, weighted payroll, what is a non exempt employee, when are w2s supposed to go out,
I can't remember the other terms or the other questions

Interview Details – I applied online, even when I knew job fair was going on that day. Told to just call and ask for an interview appointment and they gave me a time someone would call me. They were busy and did NOT call, so I had to call again and finally got interviewed by phone. Then next day was inperson interview. Filled out an easy math test and had one-on-one interview with test of computer skills and they are sizing you up for one of several departments. The more dynamic phone skills you have will get you a higher paying job in another dept than the entry level jobs.
Interview Question – They ask how you would sell a product, even though this a customer service position. Need to know/show your computer skills:copy/paste, toggling betw screens, minimizing.... View Answer
Negotiation Details – After the interview, if they say you're hired, they make you pick your hours immediately, although its hard to change your schedule later, so be prepared what hours you can work

Negotiation Details – I was not able to negotiate. Their salary was pretty much set in stone so there was no room for negotiation.

Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Reno, NV Sep 2012 – Reviewed Sep 21, 2012
Interview Details –
There were two interviews. The first interview was a breeze - general knowledge, customer service, knowing how to use a computer, and ability to be a decent person to others.
Second interview, for me, was hell. He was obnoxious, and badgering. Although I have no sales experience, I have lots of customer service experience - so I had moderate confidence in my ability to do the job. After this interview, I'm left paranoid, anxious, and not sure of myself. He asked me sales related questions, which of course I have no answers to because I've never done it before. Badgered me on unrelated things, and was honestly just generally not the nicest person ever.
Regardless, I ended up taking the job, because money is money. But now, I'm nervous to even come back. Especially since he left it with, "I don't have 100% faith in you, but I will give you a chance." Thanks.
Interview Questions
Negotiation Details – I had to sit there for about 10 minutes trying to convince him to take me as an employee, and sign off on my application to go farther.
