No Offer – Interviewed in Apr 2011 – Reviewed Apr 11, 2012
Interview Details – The recruiter was very professional and polite. She did not have any feedback on the hiring manager, however, she wanted me to be very personable. Upon my visit with the Director of IT, I was surprised at the appearance of his office was. It seemed as though he was not prepared to interview me that day - nor did he look like he was ever ready. He also had his Lead Tech, which gave the impression, of "measuring me up". Needless to say, starting with the impression he gave me, the interview became a conversation about his wedding overseas and showing me his wedding photos. He also asked me what type of music I enjoyed. After an hour of this, I really wanted to excuse myself and didn't have the courage to get back on track. I felt either I was really in with this company or I was just a waste of time. I left thinking it wouldn't have been a good fit and was very relieved to here they moved in a different direction. I did hear through the grapevine that both members that interviewed me that day are no longer with the company. I wonder why.
