I walked in and asked for the manager. I spoke with the manager for a minute and gave him my resume to look over. He suggested that I fill out an application and return it before the end of the day. I returned the application an hour later and got a mini interview to see if I was a good candidate. Two days later I got an interview and spoke with both the manager and the assistant manager. The manager focused on questions concerning my qualifications and skills and the assistant manager focused on my personality concerning customers and my ability to handle constant activity (from cleaning the fitting rooms to taking care of new shipments). After reference checks and other steps of the application process were completed I got a call to come in and sign employment papers. Overall the process went fairly quickly and I was very happy with the personalities of the employees there.

I did a walk in, filled out my applicationa nd spoke with the hiring manager. I was called for an interview in less than 3 days and asked to interview with the company. The interview was pretty simple and was done in the food court. The manager asked really basic questions and hired me on the spot.

I thought that the District manager that was conducting the interview was the one whom was not prepared. I felt like she was asking questions that were irrelevent to the job description, and prying into personal matters. I felt that she was also unprofessional about her approach and communication to get back with me on the status of the postion.

The interview process consisted of a group interview of about 8 to 10 candidates with the store manager and the district manager. Before the interview process began we first had to fill out some forms. The questions asked were like tell us about your job before now and why you left or are seeking new employement. What would you do to increase sales on a slow day. And the usual tell us about ur self and introductions.

It was me and one other girl. The manager took us to the back and asked us a few questions like "why do you want to work here" "how do you feel about customers" "what skills do you have that would attribute to Wet Seal"...just the general questions. The manager was a very nice woman. It is a very organized and fun environment.
