This was a setup - the EMC culture is a bit negative, a bit notorious. I thought this was a baiting question to see if I could come back negative re: EMC. Of course I finessed it by saying that I heard it was a great company to work for.

Before the interview, you should have researched the company's goals, mission statement, and objectives and be prepared to parrot those.
