there is0 {REQ,RSP} (request,response) handshake b/w driver and sequencer. It is like TLM port(producer)-export(consumer) connection. Sequencer arbitrates b/w user-sequences(body) and driver. Driver get's next sequence item(blocking) and send's the item to DUT and puts back the response if required and indicates item_done to unblock finish_item inside sequence. Hope it helps.
