What is the sum of the first 100 odd numbers.

10,000. First odd# is 1 and the 100th odd# is 199. 1+199=200. Next odd# is 3 and next to last odd# is 197. 3+197=200. So basically it's 50=200. (50 sets of numbers x 200 for each set) I did not know this during the interview but came up with my own manner of solving which the interviewer was okay with.
