Interviewed Feb 2012 in Denton, TX (took 2 days)
I made sure to dress up nicely with a tie and a button up shirt with nice slacks. The first day I walked in to ask if they were hiring and they told me they were and asked if I could come back Sunday for an interview(It was a thursday). I came back again in dress shirt, slacks and a tie and the assistant manager asked me some questions about leadership experience and stressed the fact that if I say i will work any time that may mean overnight because they are a 24 hour store. He asked me a few questions about what I would do in certain situations and why i was leaving my other job. He then asked me to come back on wednesday for a second interview. On Wednesday I interviewed with the general manager who gave me basically the same interview. He then told me he wanted to offer me a job and would call me to set up a time to come in and sign paperwork.

Interviewed Nov 2011 in San Antonio, TX (took 1 week)
I applied online and got a call about 3 weeks later and set up an interview for 4pm. I went in and they gave me a cup and got some Dr Pepper while waiting for the Manager for the interview. 10 minutes later we sat down in the lobby area with all the other applicants watching. He read the application asked some very easy questions. Questions like A co-worker is not motivated to work what did you do in this situation. He asked 5 questions and he called the General Manager in the back. I sat there and talked to the other applicants a little bit and he came back out and told me if I work nights I would be hired on spot. I accepted.

Interviewed Feb 2010 in Duncanville, TX (took 3 weeks)
The interview process went well but I have to say that they made me wait weeks to get started. Even when they had me to start they did not have any one to train me so they sent me home the first two days. Overall Whataburger is a great company.

Interviewed Feb 2011 (took 3 days)
I got the application from a friend who had already applied and proceeded to fill it out and turn it it. The General Area Manager was not there, but he called me the following Monday afternoon (I had turned in the application on a Saturday). I interviewed on Wednesday afternoon and filled out the official paperwork on Friday. All in all, it was a very good experience. I was offered a drink and the workers were kind. The general manager took his time and explained everything in detail to me. The best advice I could give a candidate would be to lay all your cards on the table and they really will work with you. Don't be afraid to let them know you won't work ridiculous hours or that your weekends are just that; yours.
