    Interview

On July 25, 2014 my Interview was at 6 p.m. My Interview went terrible!! I swear I didn't think I was going to get it. Reading stories on here about other people interview, mines was very different. The only thing we really talked about was my previous jobs. He never told me I had the job but he said I had other Interview on that Monday and wants me to bring my Bank Account Info, Photo ID, and My Social Security Card. Soo I guess I got it.? Oh. Btw.. If you apply online don't worry about taking a questionnaire when you go in for a Interview. I didn't have to take one since I did it online

    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4 daysinterviewed at White Castle (Chicago, IL) in April 2014.

    Interview

Behavioral interview questions up the wazoo. NOT an easy interview. Don't listen to people who say it is. They probably were brought on by someone who knew them and all they had to do is show up to get the job. The interview will be done by the shift manager and possibly the GM as well watching or asking a few questions, and if you're lucky, maybe it'll even be in the backroom and not in the restaurant like at my location. Had I known that, I probably would have declined it in the first place. But that's a story for another day At the end, it was 100% clear I didn't get the position as the interviewer didn't even go into availability.

    Interview Questions

    • They open with something simple as "what did you like/dislike about your last job" and then lookout, the behavioral interview question onslaught a cometh! Rather it was almost identical to the last question or not...   Answer Question

    Crew Manager II Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Tinley Park, IL
    Accepted Offer
    Positive Experience
    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took a weekinterviewed at White Castle (Tinley Park, IL).

    Interview

For White Castle, you start by applying online and completing a 40 minute online questionnaire. Submit it, wait for them to call. I sat with both GM's (I had 2 at the time) and they talked to me and asked me about my previous jobs, transportation, hours I'd be able to work (rotating, fixed, full-time, part-time, etc). I'm not too sure on how interviews are done currently, it all just depends on the interviewer you get. Some GM's can be lazy and just basically do a once over and they'll make their decision based off of that. Or you can get a GM like mine, where she'll basically test you by asking "out-of-the-ballpark" questions. Typically after talking to the GM, they'll give you a pre-hire assessment, (the exact same questionnaire you took online) and they'll call you based on how you did and how your interview went.

    Interview Questions

    • Unexpected: "Are you ready to take the pre-hire assessment?" ...I thought I already took it!!   Answer Question

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 5 daysinterviewed at White Castle (Chicago, IL) in March 2014.

    Interview

First, you must pass the online assessment/questionnaire to even get your application viewed. Simple, just a quick "get a feel for the type of person you are" interview for the first one. You really do need to be a people person to work here.. The second interview (if you are granted one) was a structured one, with questions.

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 4 daysinterviewed at White Castle (Saint Louis, MO) in June 2011.

    Interview

Briefly spoke with the general manager about the expectations from him and myself. It was a 1:1 interview that took place in the dining area of the restaurant. Also, you had to dress business casual, but I arrived in my ROTC uniform which took a lot of courage and allowed me to stand out amongst my peers.
