Application Details

I applied in-person. The process took a weekinterviewed at Williams-Sonoma.

Interview Details

I had a group interview with two other candidates. I had to pick an item in the store and then try to sell it to everyone. Next we were asked why we were interested in working at Williams Sonoma. The rest of the interview was just a group conversation where we heard about perks of working here. Very relaxed. Took about an hour.

I do not remember the hiring process very well. It was originally for seasonal help, I believe they were basic questions about previous sales experience, knowledge of cooking and holiday availability.

I applied in-person. The process took 6+ monthsinterviewed at Williams-Sonoma in November 2012.

    Interview Details

Very quick and painless for experienced retail sales people. They make the process very personable, the only caveat is that they only interview during the holiday season. After the holidays they decide weather or not they are going to keep you on as "core" staff.

I applied in-person. The process took a dayinterviewed at Williams-Sonoma in August 2009.

    Interview Details

The initial communication with the company was great. When asking for a application be prepared for them to ask you on the spot, "Why do you want to work for the company" You must be quick with your anser. The interview was outside the store. It consisted of myself and three other applicants. The manager propsosed a questions and had each one of us answer the question.

I applied in-person. The process took 4 daysinterviewed at Williams-Sonoma in June 2008.

    Interview Details

The interview was fairly easy. They are mainly looking at whether or not you can communicate in a professional and helpful manner with customers. Product knowledge is very helpful but depending on the size of the store, not necessary.
