I applied online and received a tentative interview date a few days later. I changed the date and went in and interviewed on a Thursday. I was interviewed my the Co-Director of the store. The standard battery of questions was asked and he told me they would let me know. About 4 days later I received a job offer in my email. One month later I went in for the drug test and 3 weeks later went to training class.

They just asked a little about school and how often I could work. One of the questions was "Do you have a car?" They told me they would try me out on the spot and sent me to take a drug test. After passing the drug test there is two days of training at one of the stores in the area. You have a class room type environment for the first day and most of the second day. At the end of the second day they let you jump in with an existing cashier to help you out.

After applying online, I got a call from the store manager setting up an interview for a day later. The interview was laid back with very cookie cutter questions. Most dealt with specific times in your life that you dealt with certain situations. After maybe 20 minutes of questions, the rest of the interview was filling out tax papers and setting up a work schedule. I went and took a drug test at a local lab right after the intital interview and my back ground check took around 4 days to come in.

Negotiation Details
Negotiating pay for me wasn't really an option, as this was my first job but i assume they are pretty understanding.

I had an 1:1 interview with a hiring manager. First asked me to tell them a little bit about myself. Then went on to explain the positin for which I was applying for and the rate of pay. Then gave me several different scenarios on how I would deal with customers.

applied online and got a call the next morning. went in for an interview but wasnt asked much besides what i do at my other job. gave me info to go get a drug test and was called when the results came back. then was called to get a training schedule and was hired.
