I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4+ weeks – interviewed at Wipro (Houston, TX).
The process is very drawn out, so if you are in need of a job to pay your bills, you will be frustrated by the way the process moves. It will also create stress if you want to work here, but have to keep looking because you just are not sure how long it will take. If you get another offer, you will probably want to give up even though you may be eventually offered the position if you are patient. In my case I was ok with the wait because I was not in a hurry to start.
- What are your professional weaknesses? However, this can be handled by answering what you want to improve and that these are areas you consider opportunities for growth, which everyone should have in his or her career. 1 Answer
Once I got the offer the next steps went fairly quickly. I was able to select a start day and that was when I went to employee orientation.

I applied online – interviewed at Wipro (Houston, TX) in August 2013.
The interview process was fairly informal and the interviewers were very welcoming and supportive. The negotiation process was a little more difficult as it seemed that the company seemed to undercut other major companies within the same industry for the same types of positions

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks – interviewed at Wipro (Houston, TX).
Generally only 2 interviews, one on the phone and one in person. Client might require an additional interview as well, it really depends on the client. Main portion of interview is to test business acumen and knowledge of IT project processes. It's in your best interest to make sure you have an example of how you have applied the process in a certain situation, it makes it much easier for them to relate to your experiences.
- I was asked to draw an example of a database for a video sales company, complete with foreign and primary keys. Answer Question
Not much in terms of negotiation. Since Wipro is a low cost consultancy firm, they only offered me 2k more than my previous employer.
