Data Center Manager Interview (Negative Experience; Average Interview)
I applied through a recruiter and the process took 3 months - interviewed at Wipro in August 2013.
Interview Details – Was contacted by Wipro recruiter via LinkedIn, after an hour phone interview I emailed my current resume and was told I'd be contacted in 3 days for a skype interview. Received an email confirming my resume for the position and that it was up for the next step of interviews. Three weeks later I still hadn't heard anything from them, I tried to call the recruiter back and left a message, no return call, I emailed the recruiter, no response. I tried to contact the Denver, CO office to try and find out the status of the position, I finally talked to a woman in Dallas, TX and she said she didn't even show a Denver location. I tried several other offices, left messages with the main recruiters office, no responses or replies. Now my online status shows filed for future use. In my opinion, this whole process was very unprofessional and very discourteous.
Interview Question – There really wasn't a difficult or unexpected question, just wish I'd actually gotten an interview with someone besides the recruiter. Answer Question
QA Analyst Interview (Negative Experience; Average Interview)
I applied through an employee referral and the process took 2 months - interviewed at Wipro in September 2013.
Interview Details – I applied for Wipro in September 2013. Initially they conducted an telephonic interview and said your are selected, we will onboard you within 1 week. I was happy but then got news that position is closed and they will interview me for another position.
I was okay with that. Again i had a technical telephonic interview, which i cleared then they said now they can process onboard me but again next morning I got a call from India
regarding an Skype technical interview.
I appeared for that. That interviewer from India was extremely rude.
For all these process its more than 1 and half month now. I had skype technical last week but they have no updates for me yet.
I was cleared in first 2 core technical interview then i should go through this skype too.
They just know taking the interview, not revealing the results.
APPLYING for WIPRO one should have extreme patience at least for 2-4 months.

Technical Lead Interview (Neutral Experience)
Interviewed at Wipro
Interview Details – First of all, all interviews gave you very short notice. And the processes were very pushing: asking for personal information and say they will start checking background, even BEFORE interview was conducted.
I had a Skype interview with a Wipro HR representative in USA in the final step. At the beginning, I told him that I can see you. He said "I can see you. You don't need to see me". What a rude attitude!
Interview Question – none. Interview was very easy. This part is very good. Answer Question

Senior Business Analyst Interview (Neutral Experience)
Interviewed at Wipro

Architect Interview (Negative Experience; Average Interview)
I applied through a staffing agency and the process took 4+ weeks - interviewed at Wipro.
Interview Details – Worst experience so far in my entire career. The process started when some recruiter (not wipro) contacted me and send my resume to Wipro. The Wipro recruiting assistant is the only contact I have. These guys are very unprofessional in their communication, style and meetings. None of the interviews happened at scheduled times. Skype based interview from India was the most unprofessional step of all. The interviewer doesn't want to show his face but all the time looking at me during the interview. In the end, they gave me a verbal offer with an amount as base salary and some bonus. The next day HR (from west coast) calls me and negotiates on the salary. In the end, after the verbal offer and cheap negotiation tactics, the real offer was never made. When I inquired with my recruiter (the middle guy) he has no information why the company was not ready to move forward and asked me to contact Wipro directly. What a waste of time and effort !!! Never work for these guys if you want to grow professionally.
Interview Question – In the words of HR - "Eventhough WIPRO tries to portray as an American company, it is very much Indian and doesn't pay decent salary. Now tell me how much you want as a salary? " Answer Question
