Interviewed Feb 2010 in Miami, FL (took 2 weeks)
The senior recruiter saw my resume on The Ladders and contacted me, he was very interested in filling the position and during the first call, he told me the details about the compensation package and that my experience was a perfect match for his organization. He called me the next day in the morning for a phone interview, after finishing the interview, he told me if the Compensation Director might interview me (on the phone) the same day in the afternoon, which I accepted. The same day he called me again and told me that the Director liked my profile and wanted to interview me personally during the next week, so I was excited with the opportunity, he also told me that I will receive an email with the day and hour for the interview during the next week. I waited for more than a week and never received such email, so I sent an email to him, he replay by saying sorry, could you come tomorrow?, I replied yes and asked information about the interviewer name, the hour and the address, that day at 7pm, he sent me an informal message which said ¨starting at 1pm Mr. YYY, 2pm Mrs. RRR, 3pm Mr. FFF, the address is XXXXXX. I expected a formal message, : Mr KK, Attached you will find the schedule of interviews for tomorrow. Our address is.. or something like that. Well, I was interested so I went to WFS Headquarters and the recruiter told me, sorry the position was oferred to other candidate, but we could have two more opportunities, one in other state and another in a foreign country, furthermore the third interviewer had to travel and won´t interview you, he explained that he contacted me because the final candidate came from other state and WFS didn´t want to pay the relocation cost, so thet saw my resume and call me, afterwards they decided to pay the relocation cost to the out of state candidate and never told me the truth, so I wasted time.
