Very Difficult Interview
I applied online and the process took 3 months - interviewed at WorldVision.
Interview Details – It is long, monotonous and unnecessary for positions that pay well below market salaries. It touts itself as a Christian organization and goes through great lengths to verify that you are one even wanting to contact your Pastor. However, when you finally get in front of the hiring managers there is nothing Christian about them, it is very corporate and they are just protecting their cushy jobs and looking for the fit that will keep them in their cushy jobs where they do nothing to save the company money for the children they claim to represent and care about. Just a typical fake Non-Profit that has lost it's way. It seems the Leadership is not leading and has no clue what is happening in their organization, probably to busy raising money..
Interview Question – There are so many I would say their whole Questionnaire and interview questions. Answer Question

I applied online and the process took 1+ week - interviewed at WorldVision in December 2012.
Interview Details – I was contacted by a recruiter for an interview after an online job application. I was interviewed by the Recruiter and the Department Lead. They asked me questions about my job experience and asked to see my portfolio. All in all, the interview process was painless. I did have to contact them to get a decision back.
Interview Question – They did want me to talk about my relationship with God. Although I knew to expect that, I wasn't sure if my answer was sufficient. Answer Question

Interview Question – Your personal relationship with Jesus Christ View Answer
Negotiation Details – There is no meaningful negotiation. You talk about fingers, and they say they will respond later. When the offer letter comes, it will be complete with unexpected fingers
I applied online and the process took 8 weeks - interviewed at WorldVision in October 2010.
Interview Details – World Vision takes on-line applications only. After about 3 weeks they called me for a phone interview. About 2 weeks later I was given a one on one interview, and about 2 weeks later a job offer over the phone, followed up by a written offer by mail.
Negotiation Details – There was amply opportunity to ask questions, however, no opportunity to negotiate for other positions or salary. Unless applying for a management or highly skilled position, the call center is considered the 'staring place' for a career at World Vision.
