Interviewed Jul 2010 in New Haven, CT (took a day)
First I spoke on Skype and told what I can and what I want. Then I came to the lab to give a talk. On the seminar with the whole group PI asked a lot of questions on the subject. It was planned to meet several group members individually so they spoke about their research. In the end it was private conversation with PI and he offered a job.

Interviewed Oct 2011 (took a day)
I found the job ad from Naturejobs, and emailed my application. The PI replied very fast after two days, and phoned my current PI for recommendation letter. After the phone call, my current PI told me that this Yale PI is very happy with my back ground, and I got a big chance in getting the job.
A few days later, I had a skype interview with the Yale PI and his senior postdoc. The interview was easy and fast. I gave a 40 minutes presentation of my current and previous work. They asked easy questions and described what they are doing in the lab. The Yale PI agreed to give me an answer within one week.

Interviewed Oct 2010 in New Haven, CT (took 3 weeks)
It is a regular interview for postdocs. The professor came to meet me at the hotel, we had breakfast together, then we went to the lab to meet the rest. I first give a presentation of my previous research, which didn't go great. Then I talk to everyone in the lab, each for 30 minutes. The last one to talk is the professor. We then went to dinner and the whole thing finishes at 8:00.

Interviewed Mar 2008 (took 2 days)
1:1 interview, mainly regarding fit and past research experience. I was asked to give a brief presentation about my master's thesis project. I also met with an HR representative, and was asked to go through my resume and explain my educational background in more detail. They said they would let me know the following day, and I received a call with a formal verbal offer, and the formal written offer arrived the day after that.
