Interviewed Apr 2012 (took 3 days)
Very fast process. HR set up a phone interview, called back the same day to set up an in person interview for the next day which consisted of a skills test. Received a call the day after that to set up another phone interview which led to another in person interview.

Interviewed Apr 2012 in Santa Barbara, CA (took a day)
I talked to a few of the project managers for about half an hour each. There were a few technical questions involved but mostly I talked about my own experience. The managers there were friendly and didn't feel a lot of pressure.

Interviewed Apr 2012 (took 3 weeks)
The interview process was actually a very pleasant experience. Everyone I spoke with and met in person put me at ease and was very easy to talk to. It seems like a great place to work with a great business model. They seem to have their priorities straight by focusing on customers and employees. Seems like a great culture, and management appears to have realistic expectations. The skills test wasn't exactly a "test" - it measures your strengths (in accounting and IT) and gives you an opportunity to share examples of your work experience and demonstrate potentially how well you would do in this role. It seems to also help give them an idea of how you think. If you are thinking about applying for a consulting role, make sure you are okay with heavy travel. The team is split up into regions, which helps, but if your lifestyle won't accommodate your being gone potentially all week (or at least 4 days), this probably isn't the right role for you.

Interviewed Mar 2012 in Raleigh, NC (took 2 days)
Applied online, received an email invitation to a career fair. At the fair, you are introduced to the company and given a chance to ask questions. There is also a short skills and intelligence test to take. Then I participated in a 1 on 1 interview which went extremely well.
Got invited to a second interview the following week, this time for 3 separate interviews with 2 managers at a time. Yardi puts a strong effort in getting to know the candidate and ensuring that he/she is the right fit, so it was much of an opportunity for me to interview them as vice versa.
Safe to say, it went well. I received a call and a job offer within a few days.

Interviewed Jul 2011 in Santa Barbara, CA (took 2 months)
While applying for one or more positions at the company, the actual interview process consisted of two interviews, each with two managers from different departments. The interview appeared to be more of managers looking for a particular skill set/character than a specific job title, and initial understanding of which job I was being interviewed for was unclear. Afterwards a four-part test was administered, covering accounting, SQL and database/programming knowledge, and a logic/intelligence section.

Interviewed Aug 2009 (took a day)
Group interview went very well. Second interview with upper management felt as if it was just a courtesy and that a decision had already been made. Company as a whole has a great reputation and the referring employee loves the environment but I did not feel the Marketing department was the right fit for me.

Interviewed Feb 2011 (took 1 week)
Applied online. Received a phone call from a company recruiter who was very nice and asked a few questions regarding my previous work experience. She then called back the same day asking if I could come in for an interview the next day. I met with three people currently working in the department and the HR recruiter I spoke with over the phone. I was given a skills test and given a tour of the building. The facilities are fairly modern. Employees all looked pretty young. I have heard from other people who know people who work there that they are happy working for the company.
I thought the in-person interview went pretty well. The recruiter however had mentioned that they already had another person in mind for the position but wanted to make sure they were making the right decision d decided to call me in. Less than a week later I received a vague letter in the mail stating they were not going to be offering me the position but that I was welcome to apply for other positions on their website career section.

Interviewed Oct 2008 (took 2 days)
First send in your resume. Then you will be contacted for a Career Fair, which spans 2 days and an you can go anytime, either day. About 60-80 people generally come to the Fair. At the Fair you you take a short 10 question test for IT and accounting aptitude. It also has some basic math and reasoning questions and a customer service question or two. Then you chat with one or two Team Leads, individually. They will look at your resume and are very friendly. After that about 15-20 people come for second interviews. That is a 1/2 day and you will interview with pairs, or sometimes 3 team leaders at once. All management will interview you and rank you. The top X number of people (hiring need at the time, normally 6-8) will get offers in 1-2 days.

Negotiation Details
Very little room to negotiate because groups of people are hired and there is a cap. The training period is about 4 weeks and is intensive. They pretty much pay everyone the same coming in, and sort out skills and aptitudes later.
Other Details
The interview consisted of a Background Check and a Group/Panel Interview.
