Interviewed Jun 2011 in Milwaukee, WI (took 1+ week)
In interviewing with Yellowbook I had two in-person interviews with management, a phone interview, and a ride-along day with another rep (to observe). Overall it was a good process, just a little long.

Interviewed Feb 2012 in Birmingham, AL (took 5 days)
Basically they asked about who I was and went over my job history. They did not take time for any in depth questions. The second woman I interviewed with, even though I had given the first man my resume the day before did not have my resume or any clue about my job history. I have never felt uncomfortable in an interview but she managed to do that.

Interviewed Dec 2009 (took 3 weeks)
The interview started with an online application followed by a phone interview a week after the application.
the phone interview was a brief conversations asking general questions like, " how did you hear about us, why did you apply, etc." There were no very difficult questions on the phone interview.
The second interview was a 1:1 with the head manager of the office. This was a "qualifications" type interview. "tell me about your last job, why did you leave, tell me a time where you had to overcome customer objections, whats your sales style, where do you see yourself in 5 years, do you think you hunt for customers or do you like them to come to you, are you willing to work for bonuses based one your performance"
after the interview with the head manager i was interviewed by the second in charge who is more of the sales manager who actually goes into the field with employees. This was a casual "personality" interview. "tell me about you, career goals, how do you handle people, who is your idols, what inspires you." nothing difficult.
the second major interview consisted of a "ride along". This is where i meet a sales representative in the field an rode along with with for a few hours observing the job. during this time we would walk to random business and attempt to set appointments to sell products. we would also meet customers to service existing accounts. this really showed the real job.
the third interview was again with the head manager where is was straight to business and i was offered the job.

Negotiation Details
there was no negotiations at all. base pay for all employees in each level is the same. They justify this because it is up to sales representative to sell products to "earn" their real pay. advice is, do not believe that you will hit all of the bonuses they say there are.
Other Details
The interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a 1:1 Interview, a Group/Panel Interview and a Drug Test.

Interviewed Jan 2010 (took 2 days)
I first interviewed with the area Sales Manager which was casual and, kind of, get to know you type of interview. He was open to questions I had and answered all of the satisfactorily. He asked a lot of questions about my background and how well I do as a team player. Next was an interview with a "selling" manager which was quick and to the point and asked about my sales approach and explained hers. Drug Screen & BG check and I was offered the job

They are a pretty straightforward company with their program all laid out. There is really no room for negotiating but they have a solid plan.

Interviewed May 2010 (took a day)
Yellowbook had called me once before and did a phone interview. Then they emailed me an invited me to an open house at the nearest office. There were four candidates waiting including me and each person was given a 1:1 interview on the spot. My conversation was a good one, although I knew that the job wasn't going to be offered because the pay was ;ess than half of what I had previously been making. I would have considered the offer and worked hard to "self promote" myself to the account executive level, but haven't heard back yet if I will get a second interview.
