Interviewed May 2012 in San Francisco, CA (took a day)
I went to a job fair at zara. There was a line of people waiting to be interviewed. I got interview by a 20+ manager who seemed more interested in checking out the young boys applying for the job than anything else. He asked me some basic questions:
Why do you want to work at Zara?
What can you bring to the table?
It's been five days and haven't heard back from them, I could take he didn't like me even though I have all the experience in customer service and cashiering working at a high end department store for more than ten years. A very young gay guys environment. If you are a woman and straight not a chance to work there.

Interviewed Apr 2012 (took a day)
It was a scheduled group interview, starting with Why Zara? The questions were easy and straight forward. Anyone was allowed to start first. Questions such as "name your favorite fashion designer" came up. The managers were well dressed, stylish hairstyles and revealing makeup.

Interviewed Jul 2011 in Chicago, IL (took a day)
Went into the store and asked the AM if they were hiring. Offered me an interview that same day. Came in, got interviewed by AM and then the GM. GM told me I would get a response within the next couple of days. About four hours later got a call from the GM telling me I got the job. Been with them ever since.

Interviewed Mar 2012 in Chicago, IL (took a day)
There was a posting on craigslist for open house interviews for both sales associate and cashier positions. I went in that morning and there was a line when I got there. Filled out the application while waiting in line. (Remember to bring a pen!) Managers took in candidates for interviews one by one. It was a pretty quick and standard interview, about 5~10 minutes. No technical questions. Received a call the same day with offer.

Interviewed Mar 2010 in Mahwah, NJ (took 1+ week)
it was a tiring and long process which took a lot longer than i had expected. Instead of giving my face away and living for the 12 dollars an hour i decided that i would not be able to take the job since i had better offers. In the end I wanted to take the job but did not. it was a tiring and long process which took a lot longer than i had expected. Interviewed Jan 2010 (took a day)
Went for a summer job. Manager was French-speaking, so the fact that I spoke French even without any cashier experienced put me over the top

Interviewed May 2011 in Mission Viejo, CA (took 2 days)
I applied for the position but did not hear back for months. Finally, I called the actual store at the location I had applied to. The manager answered, I told her I was interested in a job, she asked me some questions, and within a few minutes she asked me to come interview. When I arrived we had a casual interview and I filled out some forms. By the next day she called to tell me I was hired

Reason for Declining
I declined because the hours are completely out of your control. You must go by the schedule the manager sets for you. I found that hard to digest since I'm a full time student.

t is not recommended to wear jeans to a retail job interview. A solid colored conservative suit would be appropriate. Always dress neatly for an interview.
Here are some customer service interview questions:
What is good customer service?
What would you do if customer complains?
What would you do if co-worker is rude to customers?
What will you do if customer wants to return the product for a refund

Interviewed Feb 2010 in New York, NY (took 4+ weeks)
Initially I had to face two long phone interviews, where I was asked the classic questions like "Tell me about yourself." and "What are the reasons you applied to this job position.", or "Tell me about your previous experiences". The main issue here was to keep my nerves and concentrate on the voice tone of the interviewer. Also trying to push on follow-up answers can help me drag the conversation towards where I wanted.
Finally the application process brought me to endure a 1:1 interview with an very easy-going HR member who managed to give me enough opportunities to express. Nothing extremely difficult, but i would suggest to dress smart and not necessarily with stuff from Zara. Come charged up and confident and you will not have any problem.
