Interviewed Jul 2011 (took 2+ weeks)

This company has to be one of the most unorganized outfits I have ever been introduced too. The phone interview consisted of phone tag for several days and only lasted for about 15 minutes. They called me back a couple days later to schedule the in-person interview. When I arrived at the office there was no one there to greet me and everyone acted like they didn't know an interview was scheduled. Finally after a 15 minute wait, I met two of my interviewers who showed me to the conference room and asked me a series of normal interview questions: why are you a good fit for this job, tell us about your past experience, what are you strengths and weaknesses, and several technical questions. Half way through the interview another manager showed up to ask me the same questions all over again. After about half an hour the interview was interrupted and the main interviewer was called out for something. I was left in the room just to chat with the other two. After about 10 minutes he came back and said something came up and he had to run. He asked for me to email my references and he would get back to me in a week. I sent a thank you email with references that same evening. I waited a week and sent a follow-up email that I never got a response too. Another week rolled by and I sent a second follow-up letter to see if any decisions had been made because I had other pending opportunities and I like having closure. After about 5 minutes I get an email addressing me with the wrong name, even though my name was at the end of the email he was replying to, saying the position was filled. Just off my brief time interviewing with them and the way they handled the whole process this was a very unprofessional company that seems to have some serious management issues. I am glad I did not get sucked into dealing with these people on a professional level.
