I applied online and the process took 5 days - interviewed at adidas Group.

Interview Details – Applied online and was called in for an interview about 4-5 days later. It was a group interview, and was asked the general retail/ customer service questions. It helps to have a knowledge of the brand, and of sports. The HR manager asked us questions for about 10 minutes, then the store manager came in, and familiarized us with his style of management, and what he expects as an employer. When the interview was over, we were told that those hired would be notified by the end of the day.

I applied online and the process took 4 weeks - interviewed at adidas Group in August 2013.

Interview Details – Applied online August 6th, had group interview, followed by individual interview 2 weeks later. Was offered a position on September 3rd. Some sports questions (who is your fav team or player), mostly past retail experience and availability questions. Awesome managers, the best interviews I've ever experienced. Be on time! And also if you have a habit of gum chewing or twirling your hair while you talk don't even bother.

Interview Question – How would you handle a drunk customer?   Answer Question

I applied online and the process took a day - interviewed at adidas Group in May 2011.

Interview Details – I interviewed for the fashion side of the house, so they just wanted to know my background and how that would apply to selling clothes. The interviewer wasn't too worried about my lack of retail experience, it was mostly just about making sure I had the personality to be able to sell clothes.

Interview Question – What do you know about adidas fashion?   Answer Question

Negotiation Details – There was no negotiation, except I guess for the amount of hours I wanted to work.

Difficult Interview

The process took a day - interviewed at adidas Group in June 2012.

Interview Details – Well there were 5 of us in all and of course the guys took the lead and sweet talked their way through, saying almost everything that there was to say for each question, leaving the rest of us unable to come up with an original answer. This really put all of us in a bad position, and i am certain that those pushy guys got the jobs. I had complete retail experience and successful too, these guys did not, it was unfair in my view, not just for me but certainly to everyone else.

Interview Question – What makes a good sales rep. and use qualities to describe yourself   View Answer
