very easy interview process. the recruiter called me and asked if I could take a call from the hiring manager the following day. After the phone interview, I was invited down to SJ to meet with the hiring manager and 3 team members. I was invited back a second time 3 days later to meet with 3 more team members.
The time from the first phone call to offer was about 10 days. the interview process was easy. Of course they want someone that understand marketing, but I assume for this role it was more about compatibility with the other team members as well as being confident enough to speak up in meetings while having the ability to push back on action items of needed.
The team was amazing. the only difficult part was back to back interviews for 3 hours over a few days.

I was contacted by the recruiter directly, followed by a phone interview with the hiring manager. A couple days after the initial phone conversation, the recruiter contacted me for an in-person interview. On the day of the interview, there was a panel of managers/designers reviewing my portfolio (about an hour of presentation) then I had about 2-3 rounds of 1:1 interviews with the rest of the team. It was a very pleasant experience and everyone there is knowledgeable and passionate about their product. I didn't accept the offer because my current manager gave me an counter offer and willing to address my fundamental reason to leave.

Got a call from recruiter.
First was a phone screening which went well.
Second phone was horrible :
Interviewer was not at all interested in taking interview, inspite of all the correct answers he gave a negative feedback.
He was looking frustrated and was in super hurry looked like he was on a coffee break while taking interview.
Did complaint to recruiter ..

The interview consisted of the following questions:
1. Lowest common ancestor problem with different scenarios. The interviewer asked me to come up with all possible solutions and then compare them.
2. Hash table related question.
3. Producer consumer problem.
4. C++ STL questions and class related questions (constructor, destructor, automatic garbage collection)
5. Implementation of heap
6. questions related to resume
7. implementation of hash table and collision resolving techniques

Straight forward: 1) Phone interview with a case study and one puzzle 2) onsite with several questions on ebay site and some basic SQL questions. Make sure the interviewer understands your sql logic

I received an email from Ebay stating that they would like to call me for a 'phone screening'. Someone from Ebay called me and we spoke on the phone for about a half an hour. He asked me interview type questions, about my job/professional experience, why I picked my degree, what strengths I could bring to their company. A few days later, I received another call from another person at Ebay, asking me for a second 'phone screening'. Similar type questions followed. When I asked about when the interview process would actually start, they said in a few weeks after people came back from vacation. I waited a few weeks and followed up about an interview, but never recieved any response back. Their interview process is confusing.

Had a phone call from someone very junior who asked me very basic java questions and didn't even know the answers to some of the questions. I passed that one and the next was a coding exercise to be completed in 1 hour. I was able to complete more than half of it but the test timed out and the feedback was that I wasn't considered for the position. Not sure how they could judge the skills of a person based on a single phone interview and a coding puzzle.

It was a product management summer internship position for Ebay in San Jose. I applied on Ebay Careers and was invited for interview by the product manager. It was pretty straightforward, he asked me about my pas experience with technical teams and about customer interactions I had in my past job and the challenges one might have with technical teams and how to sometimes say no to them!
