I was not looking. The company recruiter found my profile from Linkedin and arranged a phone interview for me. However, the interviewer totally forgot about it and did not call me. The recruiter scheduled another time and I did not get call again -- this time, because the interviewer need take care of some urgent issue. The recruiter again made appointment and I eventually talked to the interviewer. However, it took only about 10 minutes, far less than the 30 minutes as originally scheduled. The questions he asked were quite simple tough. I never heard back from the recruiter. The interviewer was not professional and serious.

Met with 5-7 individuals from different parts of department. Everyone seemed friendly. There was a mix of personalities and some folks seemed excited to be there and others said they were happy, but their facial/body language seemed to conflict with the statements.

At 1st, I received a call from HR who then went over the job description, requirements, and then about the my experiences. Then she setup a phone interview with an employee. Once then she set up an onsite interview with 4-5 employees. The questions ranges from non-technical to technical like any other interviews.

HR emailed regarding the next day interview. Since there was less than 24 hrs notice for the off-campus interview, I asked for clarification for the interview process. HR provided me incorrect information, claiming the interview would mostly be behavior/ fit questions. The interviewer called the next day and was at least 30 minutes late in calling. I emailed HR to figure out what had happened. When the interviewer called, he spent what felt like forever on describing the job. He only asked one question about my resume and it was not behavioral. What surprised me, especially considering time, is that he asked me a case question about Amazon and then asked me more technical questions about online loyalty marketing.

Most difficult and unrewarding interview that I have ever had. I spent an entire day at the office (7 interviews that lasted 45 minutes each).
eBay is a company of VERY smart people who don't particularly like their jobs. No one was enthusiastic about their roles and it seemed as if everyone was unsure of the direction of the company.
I thought I nailed the interviews - good background for the position, top school, etc... The bottom line, I don't think I was a fit with the team. Despite the fact that the role was client facing, everyone seemed pretty geeky. Anyways, it worked out because two weeks later I got a offer from Google.
I would stay away.

The interview went fine , I was interviewing after a long time and as such was not well prepared

Met with four people - A peer, two managers, and department head.
The interview was well organized, but "looking back" the recruiter did not prepare me well enough.
If you interview for eBay, *PLAN* that they will ask you to be able to come up with calculation methods for projects of scale - as in eBay world-wide scale, and "how would you do this task, if you have 50 Million transactions to perform in one hour?"

Apparently this group is QA for eBay kernel - requires high Java and sql proficiency , the interview here sure was an "Interesting" one.
The interview started well, i liked hiring manager, he was upbeat, asking relevant questions technical, and non-technical both. All other interviewers were foreign, and all sort of looked sort of depressed. All in one way or other said "I am capable of doing better than a QE job, but this is the best I landed with". The director came in with food for interview and sort of creeped me out in general.
The highlight was.... ahem ... Principal QA (apparently), who reminded me of my school teacher - yes complete with glasses and all.., her fundaments of Java were messed up (but perhaps has a lot of practice writing code on paper), and was adamant, raising voice, and asking questions like "is that so?" "how sure are you?". I right then realized, that if I take up this job, it will be the biggest mistake of my life... I wanted the interview to be over, i thought the woman was treating me like I was an urchin asking for her help.... she goes down in my "most horrible person(s) I have met" list.
In conclusion, I sent "I am not interested email this morning".

I got this interview through my school's career fair. They asked me about my class projects so we talked about that for a little bit. They asked me two technical questions. I don't actually remember the first one, but I do remember the second one. There were also some behavioral ones. There was only one phone interview and they sent me an offer the day after. They were super friendly and good people to talk to.
