Interview Details –
The hiring was organized through campus placements in our pre-final years.
Round 1: WRITTEN TEST
Round 2: INTERVIEW
Round 3: HR INTERVIEW
Written test was simple and required basic problem solving.
Selected students had to undergo an interview of around 10-20 minutes. The interview consisted mostly of formal questions like:
1) Describe yourself?
2) A little about Family and education.
3) A little technical. Describe in detail about your summer internship/training.
4) A little about values and hobbies
The interviewer checked our technical knowledge by making us first comfortable with questions about our selves and then going into technical stuff.
After the interview, some of us had telephonic HR interview, while some had face-2-face HR interview. The interview involved questions like:
1) Why you want to join iGate?
2) Some questions checking GK and technical updates.
3) Are you comfortable with flexibility in location and shift?
HR interview was used mostly for checking our communication skills, goals, confidence, and flexibility at work place.
