Calibration Scientist Interview

Calibration Scientist
Teddington, South West England, England (UK)

I applied online and the process took 6 weeks - interviewed at national physical laboratory in April 2014.

Interview Details – Applied online via NPL's website. Called for a first interview about a month after first application sent. Interview was face-to-face two interviewers that covered details of previous employment and skills relevant to job and simple competency questions. A more informal second interview a few weeks afterwards included a tour of the premises and meeting future work colleagues. This was more concerned with delving into my interests and career goals.

Interview Question – I was asked to explain a recent scientific discovery that was in the news in layman's terms.   Answer Question
