If you worked for harris teeter before applying to food lion you have better chance of getting on with FL as an assistant MGR. I am a Grocery mgr for FL and have tried to get promoted for over 10 years now. stopped trying after the 8th person I had to teach that was brought in from competitor. its amazing on how some one has to train his own boss yet they feel that person is not qualified to be the assistant Less
