I worked at 22nd Century Technologies as a contractor (more than an year)

    Pros

Commiserating with your co-workers about how bad TSCTI is can be a good drinking game.

    Cons

No leadership or integrity among local senior staff. Even corporate rep lacked integrity and refused to speak face to face whenever they visited. New personnel were not vetted properly, allowing for personnel with little to no experience to be brought on-board, often without an interview or preliminary checks (when everyone has to be investigated). When a colleague left, their recruiter offered me an opportunity to interview for his position without even bothering to check that I already worked for them

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be honest. Don't be cheap. You can't expect loyalty from an employee that is underpaid, over-worked and jaded from the empty promises that your corporate office makes. You have to give respect to get it. Corporate should really listen to the boots on the ground, or better yet, have an on-site representative or HR person at the very least.

    Doesn't Recommend

    Disapproves of CEO
