    I have been working at 24 Hour Fitness part-time for more than a year

    Pros

    -Easy and predictable work hours
    -Can be fun if you like kids

    Cons

    -Poor pay
    -Almost complete lack of communication with co-workers and management
    -Can be very un-stimulating
    -Difficult to cover shifts and even cover breaks.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Include the Kid's Club Attendants in the company. While I've been working here, I have not been required to attend any staff meetings (I had to work through them), have seen my boss in passing perhaps once a week, haven't made any friends at work, and have not ever been given rest breaks. I only recently found out I was actually entitled to them, and will be pursuing compensation for my missed breaks over the past year. Management needs to certify more employees for Kid's Club so that breaks or even restroom use is an issue for the Kid's Club Attendant.
