    Cons

The company will drain your time with senseless initiatives to address the lack in strategy. Depending on what book of the week the CEO is reading, you will either be implementing the Rockefeller Habits, the Oz Principles, Six Sigma, KPMG best practices or the Operational Excellence procedures. Everything you did up to this point – stop it. You will spend countless hours attending meetings, filling out forms, designing SOPs and reading scripts, books, newsletters just to have it all go to waste next week. The attrition rate is very high – mainly due to the constant shift of focus, lack of strategy and lack of leadership. Executives micro-manage beyond belief and all the hours you don’t spend in meetings you spend refining reports. Eventually your productivity will be close to zero and you will spend more time in meetings explaining why. Many talented, creative employees have left because of this reasons. The company is doing nothing to address the high attrition. Fun fact: HR Directors last the least: in 3 years the company had 8 people in that position.
This is the worst company you will ever work for. Think twice.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

As for the executives: Remember, people don’t quit companies, they quit people. In theory the company has tremendous potential – in reality it has none. Continue what you are doing and the exodus will continue.
