    I worked at A.D. Susman & Associates as a contractor for more than 3 years


    The staff was courteous; pay was good; and you're pretty much self-managing. All is well...


    There was no advance notice of contract expiration. (Not uncommon/but bad practice).
    Be prepared!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Implement a plan to develop and retain employees. Provide benefit options to contractors.
    Train staff in the art of tactfully ending contracts. Invest in your greatest assets (employees/contractors).
