    I have been working at ADP full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Great compensation, generous bonuses and commissions, great incentives to perform - Fun people, with great attitudes and youthful energy - Great leadership that are passionate about seeing you succeed - If you work hard they will reward you and you will be promoted

    Cons

    - Working in San Francisco means coming up against innovators who look at your product, process and service and essentially laugh at the archaic nature of the sales process - No entrepreneur trying to set up a company and develop their product has the time to sit down with you for an hour, look at the basic technology and go through the process of collecting docs when they can take 30 minutes to sign up for a service that offers the same thing for half the cost online - Churn and burn mentality means customers are treated like garbage and sales associates are expected to pick up the slack of termed employees while squeezing every product and referral out of current clients - ADP is a sales organization which means no traditional marketing and you're expected to work very hard to establish yourself but the actions of another associate or partner can RUIN relationships. It is very hard to control your brand and subsequently can affect your performance. - Some very immoral behavior occurs all in the name of closing a deal, and often times it is encouraged by management (everyone has a quota afterall)

    Advice to Management

    Pay attention to the region you're operating in, SF and the Bay Area in general is ahead of the rest of the country but the competition is backed by BIG players (Google ventures) and they have their eyes on mid sized and large businesses and with the financing to do so they will come after ADP's core business. It may be time to rethink the manner in which ADP markets their products, make them more accessible to business owners and utilize modern tracking and sales tools to allow sales associates to KNOW when a business or individual has been researching our offerings online so they can reach out, instead of shooting in the dark.
