Current Employee - GIS Manager in Raleigh, NC

I have been working at AECOM full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Great opportunities to get involved in large multi-year projects and provide support for lots of diverse clientele. Great technical staff and good people to work with. Pay and benefits are good.

    Cons

Too many upper level managers making decisions based on numbers and money alone. Had an upper level manager come in and change my performance rating from exceptional to strong without even consulting with my supervisor who submitted the rating. Relentless focus on utilization.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop focusing on utilization, start focusing on your employees and invest in them. Provide them with training when they request it.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
