    I have been working at AMEC Foster Wheeler full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

    Good pay with ok benefits, flexible work schedule, great coworkers that are always there for you, challenging and complex projects with the opportunity to work outside of the US.

    Cons

    You are only a number, only about profits, no mentoring or training programs, cliques prevent employees from getting resources (it's not what you know, it's who you know) global company message not consistent with local management, no recognition for hard work/employees overworked, resistant to change WRT sustainability and efficiency measures.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    There are so many studies that say if your employees are happy and feel appreciated, they'll work harder and advocate for the company. You should try it sometime.
