I worked at AMF Bowling part-time (More than a year)

    Made life-long friends. Fun atmosphere.

Make sure to keep you just under 40 hours so the company is not responsible for giving you benefits. Manger was slimy and got away with being crude to female employees. Not an environment you'd want to make as a career, unless you have no aspirations for your life. Would only recommend to high school or college kids who need to work nights. Very hard to move up the chain of command.

    Advice to Management

When you have a good employee, value them. Pay raises and verbal praise go a long way. Believe employees when they point out erroneous behavior of co-workers and/or management. The customer is not always right, especially in a lower-end economic neighborhood where people are trying to scam companies.
