I have been working at AMIkids full-time
It was steady employment. The co-workers were nice.
Entirely too much was put on the staff. I watched a person go from being the new person in his department to the senior teacher in one semester. When a teacher quit (which was not an irregular thing), the classes were combined and the other teachers had to pick up the slack. Sometimes without answer books for classes they weren't hired to teach in. There were four bosses that year, as well. And every boss brought in their own way of doing things. And tossed what they didn't like, regardless of whether or not it was working.
Advice to Management
Corporate gives trainings on how to deal with at-risk kids and, when at the school, they're totally unable to deal with them in person. They actually make things worse, like instigating a conflict over a student using a pen on the FCAT, causing the student to get removed from the classroom. They've been away from the school setting for so long, they're unable to deal with the students OR the staff.
