I have been working at AT&T

    Pros

The company has a LOT of advancement opportunity and it allows for an individual through time to achieve a 6 figure salary

    Cons

Management is nothing but glorified secretaries. 90% of them have no clue how to do the job and when management bids open up someone is always selected before anyone knows about it.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The company made it's largest advancements during a period that it took care of it's people. . ATT has gotten away from this and has continued through it's uneducated management to belittle the very individuals that are doing the work. Since I started my crew of 20 guys has dwindled and all the senior technicians with time in the company have left to work with other companies that value their hard work. If they would take care of these guys then they could retain an intelligent workforce. Save money on training and increase the profits. But hey I'm just a tech I'm not a manager so what do I know?
