The company is definitely in rebuild mode after going through some tough times five years ago. However, the rebuild effort is showing some real promise. New accounts are coming in. The performance of existing ones remain solid.
Company morale is generally good. The firm organizes lots of fun activities like group walks across the Golden Gate Bridge, basketball games, viewings of the World Cup, foosball tournaments, book clubs, soccer games, etc.
There is a strong feeling that now is a very good time for the firm as we have nowhere to go, but up.Cons
While the work life balance for the most part is good for most, there are definitely others who are more overworked.
After going through some tough times, a lot of people were let go which left their responsibilities to whoever was left. Some departments are hurting more than others when it comes to staffing. During the busy times of the year life can get pretty harsh for those departments.
But this is the dilemma of all small firms with loftier ambitions. Do more with less people.Advice to ManagementAdvice
