I have been working at Aaron's full-time (More than 10 years)

The pay if you hang in there, can be tremendous. The work you will do seems endless and extremely repetitive. You get to help people afford things they may not be able to purchase otherwise. Camaraderie is great if you are on a solid team. Commissions and bonus plans are good, but room for improvement.

Zero respect from management, at any level. Nothing is ever going to be 'good enough'. Working until 9pm EVERY day is a bummer, and wears on your family. This could be labeled a call center environment, complete with headset and shackle. Check the competitors, as we have lost a lot of great help to them over the years, and most have left for less money. The inner circle, good ole boy system is garbage. Promote those that produce, not those that are 'cool'.

    Advice to Management

Figure out how to collect, without working your people until 9-930pm everyday. The FDCPA, will eventually collapse the collection time window, be a pioneer and beat them to it. In ten years, I have lost dozens of employees, because of the accounts an GM schedule. You have lost the best people this company has ever had, to the competition? WHY? Well, it usually wasn't about the pay! In ten years, I have rarely been granted time off (days off or Saturdays), unless vacation time was utilized. Annual days available for work 365 - 52 Sundays and - 6 holiday! You expect the entire company(in the field) to work 300+ days annually! Man, I miss Charlie! Just, do better next time
