    I worked at Aaron's full-time (more than 5 years)

Gm pay is ok and allows people with no experience to gain experience.

The company is almost unbearable to work for andthey will hang this carrot in front of your face telling you how great it is when you become a GM. This is what you'll get when you reach a gm level. They don't care about their employees. You will be cussed out by your regionals daily. Hr issues from from regional level almost daily. Terrible business model. Set unrealistic expectations. work 70-80hrs a week. The turn over has to be one of the worst out there. The store will be terrible for years and the will blame the employees that they have replaced multiple times. instead of realizing that it's their business model ,store location and quality of products that makes the store unsuccessful. I would say that The percentage of employees that reached 10 years with the company it's probably less than 5%. They will treat you like this is your best opportunity and you better put up with how they treat you because they'll tell you that you're never going to be having a job somewhere else. I quit working there and the Company I work for now is the complete opposite of aarons. So not only they treat their employees right. I make way more than the average GM at aarons. "right before I quit my regional told me I was a f'ing joke and didn't deserve to be paid $10 an hour" I work 40hrs a week now and make more money than he does.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Completely overhaul your company's culture and take a page from the companies that are rated the best to work for. Instead of being one of the worst.
