    Pros

*This pertains to Accenture's Strategy Practice*
Ability to learn core strategy consulting skills - business analysis, stakeholder management, communications, etc. A global company with a wide range of resources and ability to work in any industry and geography. Work-life balance is typical for strategy consulting, i.e. 80+ hours a week.

    Cons

*This pertains to Accenture's Strategy Practice*
Quality of projects vary significantly. Sometimes you work on high impact topics with clients in the C-suite, , but sometimes you work on less significant topics with clients at the Director level.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

*This pertains to Accenture's Strategy Practice*
If you would like to attract the same type of talent that go to McKinsey, Bain, BCG, you need to ensure consistency of projects for the Strategy practice. Do not give projects that are implementation focused or IT-strategy focused to your strategy employees. More importantly, do not penalize your employees during performance reviews for things that were outside their control (e.g. being staffed on a project that was designed and scoped to be low-impact).
