I worked at Accenture full-time (more than a year)Pros
Things are well framed and processed.
Few benefits do exist even if it is often not given to everyone
A French work council with a lot of good propositions...overall niceCons
Too big company with rigid hierarchy
Big projects with a tiny scope for you...make you lose interest for the mission
Mostly IT oriented and management consulting part is ridiculous
Promotion is a joke (few promotions despite a huge increase of activity every year) = Increase in term of turnover but a constant workforce that means more money for directors and less for junior/senior consultantsAdvice to ManagementAdvice
Company values : Accenture try to "greenwash" its image by making partnership/helping NGO such as PlanetFinance which is a joke in the world of NGO and ethic ! Please make real partnership and help real people dont help an NGO which is getting 30% of so called "infrastructure cost"
The rest is the same...just image but no real actions. Nothing in term of footprint reduction is done even if they pretend to do so by making huge marketing and advertisment.
Time-off is also a joke. Except the imposed christmas holidays the rest depend of the management needs which is often 150% of your time. You will work 12h a day (instead of 8h officially) and proably get 2 weeks of holidays if you are lucky. HR don't do their jobs.
Training is relatively well done when you get time to do so. However every training are imposed and you cannot do whatever you want. But there is a big training in Chicago which is well done for networking and competencies...and local training are nice for the part i have tested !Doesn't RecommendPositive OutlookDisapproves of CEO
