I worked at Accenture full-time (more than a year)

Good Benefits, Strong new hire orientation and acculturation, access to everything online - They reward people who share information and answer others' questions online.
Good people to work with overall - Assignment of "mentor" was helpful to learning new systems and expectations. Mentor-Guides are assigned for your development and career path; this is not your manager - but they often are assigned too many people and aren't supported in this important effort. Supportive of women in leadership roles

Contrast between the "traveling consultant/warrior" and their potential and career opps, and someone hired for a single project is stark. Mentoring is said to be done, but mentors often don't have time to coach or work with you. Those looking for work-life balance would do well to look elsewhere - rewards clearly go to those who work the longest hours, travel a lot and live for their work.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be more candid about the working politics and requirements of project assignments. Support your employees when the client drops planning and starts to shoot from the hip to meet unreasonable deadlines.
