I have been working at Acosta full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Some degree of autonomy. Praise from mgt for innovations and creative solutions but compensation doesn't come close to reflecting that.

    Cons

No raise (I provided innovations which directly increased company's bottom line), Zero communication skills, DISHONEST, ABUSIVE...

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try being leaders. Step up to the plate. Do the right thing. They almost flaunt their utter disrespect for employees. Over the time I've worked at Acosta, I've come up with unique solutions to in-store issues. I got praise but no raise. During this time, responsibilities and 'critical' projects have increased tenfold. HR routinely ignores me. My immediate managers refuse to go to bat for me. I sometimes ride a bicycle over 30 miles at 5 in the morning in the freezing cold in Alaska to get to a store. If that's not dedication, I don't know what is. I work like a dog and am treated accordingly. Acosta is far from the only 'gig in town'. I've been doing this sort of work for a long time, and I'm very good at what I do. I work for several other merchandising companies + own my own business on the side. If you're looking for a merchandising job, keep looking... My principle regret is that I didn't check these reviews before I signed on with Acosta. I'll be the finest merchandiser they'll ever lose.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
